US operator Verizon worked with 30 Ninjas and Immersive studio Novelab on a mobile AR game that allows users to virtually solve glitches.
The game, Helios, uses Verizon’s ultra-wideband 5G network. This network enables users to move around an Augmented reality version of their personal physical spaces such as homes to solve glitches. The application uses 3D holograms, to help players navigate through the game.
Earlier March 2022, Verizon set a goal of covering 175 million people with its ultra-wideband 5G network by the end of the year, up from 100 million at end-January.
