Swiss International Airlines debuted a web ad that uses AR to give audiences a preview of their new business cabin.
The mobile web AR ad is embedded in the mobile web, instead of a separate micro site. This makes it more likely to be seen by mobile viewers. The vertical 360° video starts when clicking on the ad. The video shows the interior of the new business cabin’s of the plane. You can tap on “hot spots” to view more information about dining and video entertainment choices onboard.
The AR ad is another way to engage mobile viewers and inspire them to book a flight in their new business cabin. Because of the Web AR platform Swiss used, the ad resulted in a higher amount of relevant content directed to audiences.
