Shake Shack | Transforming Stores

Shake Shack New York transforms to a Snap Shack this week. Snapchat and Shake Shack collaborated recently to highlight innovation of both brands by adding AR for the users to explore. 

A collaborative Snap Shack logo featuring a burger and a ghost will be featured at the store, as well as a life-sized statue of Crinkle Cut Fry with AR activation, and a creative merch shopping cart. Visitors may digitally try on the exclusive clothing, which includes a bandana, a beanie and T-shirts. Users access this content through their smartphone by navigating to the Snap Shack lens, or by utilizing the in-store AR mirror.

Customers are redirected to a shopify page after trying out the limited edition clothing. Snapchat users have tried the items more than 250 million times during the company’s latest AR beta program with more than 30 firms from various industries. They were 2.4 times more likely to buy a product than customers who did not use this feature.
