RTJ & Sketchfab | Visual Remix Challenge

The Iconic hip hop duo Run The Jewels teamed up with 3D platform Sketchfab for a unique three dimensional competition. Participants can download a 3D model of the well known ‘Pistol and Fist’ logo and are allowed to create their own iteration which can be shared via Augmented Reality

For the competition all 3D disciplines were valid—modelling, sculpting, animation, texturing, anything and everything goes. This has led to an incredible amount of creative remixes in an impressive amount of different styles. Fans interacted via Discord channels showcasing and promoting their work. 

 

Using the hashtag  #rtj4d creations were shared via Twitter, Instagram and ofcourse Sketchfab. It’s led to a great amount of views and shares and got attention on online publications like The Verge. A great way to engage fans and promote the brand via co-creations.
