Nissan uses a cube that uses three-dimensional effects and augmented reality to advertise the new Nissan Qashqai SUV. The cube is made by Pixel Artworks and will be in London for one week.
The cube simulates 3D visuals, making it look like a curtain is raised after which the Nissan enters the cube. The cube also contains a QR code where bypassers can take a closer look at the new Nissan via their smartphones.
The 3D experience repeats itself every 15 minutes. Nissan also posted a video of the experience on their YouTube channel, which has since been viewed more than 5,000 times. Nissan’s marketing stunt got the attention of Next Reality and Creative Bloq.
