Groenexpert intratuin | AR app for indoor plants

Intratuin has developed an augmented reality app where you can put indoor plants in your living room in AR.

The app was developed together with Configwise, a Dutch software company specializing in mobile 3D tools. The app aims to bring people closer to a green, natural way of life. In this way Intratuin ensures that consumers can first check whether the plant fits the room before purchasing it. You point the camera at the room where you want to place the plant, choose one of the house plants and place the plant easily, virtually, in the house. This is possible because the plants have been scanned to give a realistic 360º representation.

Various marketing blogs such as advertising and emerce paid attention to this new application. The Intratuin app can be downloaded from the Google Playstore (Android) or the App Store (iOS) from the end of January 2021.
