See, try and buy two new Nike’s in an AR shopping experience launched by Champ Sports. This is the first brand to make use of the new Snapchat Machine Learning feature to enable AR try ons directly from the social platform.
Start the Champs AR experience by selecting the branded lens in the app’s lens carousel, or by scanning the retailer’s Snapcode with the app’s camera. Users can overlay the new Air Vapormax 2020 Flyknit and Nike Air Max 9 directly over their feet to get a great sense on how the sneakers will look. Via a ‘’Shop Now’ button users will be led directly to the online shop.
The experience has seen an average share rate of 8% among users which is five times higher than the benchmark for average retailers. The campaign is aimed at a target audience which are most likely to buy the new models but may be hindered by the Covid pandemic in their annual back-to-school shopping.
