Apple has created an augmented reality app to promote the second season of the series For All Mankind. You can download the app in the American App Store and is expected to be available in the Netherlands soon.

The app, For All Mankind: Time Capsule explains the time jump between the two seasons. You can get unique background information from the series in the app in an interactive way by examining recordings, photos and video lists, but also with an old-fashioned Walkman. It is even possible to play with the classic Apple 2 computer from the era in which the series takes place.

The app has received attention on international sites such as The Verge but also the Dutch Tweakers. The reviews are full of praise, the app has a 5 star rating and many positive reactions from the fans of the series.
