Puma has launched a new campaign in India for their ‘Play On’ sneakers, implementing Instagram AR filters and a swipe up arcade game. To attract a younger audience to the campaign, they collaborated with AliveNow to create a Pinball game. The competition allows players to win a pair of sneakers.
The PinBall game is played by tapping on the left and right of your smartphone to activate the shoe paddles. Coloured bars are placed all around the side of your screen and each bar reveals a part of the photo. Clear all the remaining coloured bars and unlock the hidden shoes. After setting a high score and filling in your contact details, you will be able to share your score with friends on Facebook or Whatsapp.
The campaign enlisted famous influencers such as Indian actress Sara Ali Khan and singer Sahil Sharma AKA Zaeden to help share the content across social media. They received positive reactions from their target audience with 2.5 million likes combined on Instagram.
