KPN launches the renewed Wifi Manager with a campaign by DentsuAchtung. The idea behind the campaign is that wifi should always work and that customers with the KPN Wifi Manager always have a good connection. Besides online video and TV, KPN also uses online display, radio and (D)OOH for this campaign. In addition, DentsuAchtung asked us to help create an AR filter.
A cheerful brand experience that links up with the communication via other channels and puts the viewer in the leading role. The campaign is a big hit and variations of vibrating pets can be seen everywhere on social media. The filter was viewed several thousand times and often shared on both Instagram and Facebook.
In the commercials, you see how a cat and its owner are taken out of their flow (their ‘vibe’) by malfunctioning wifi. And to make matters worse, the neighbours have that flow. The protagonist is also seen in the social AR filter. The filter allows you and your cat to vibrate to the characteristic music from the commercial. Including a cat’s face, Santa hat, glitter, snowflakes and of course the KPN logo.
