Tool teamed up with GSD & M and Pizza Hut to bring the classic Arcade game PAC -MAN to life using WebAR.
People who ordered a pizza received a special edition box, which allowed them to activate PAC-MAN via their mobile browser and play the classic game on top of the box.
The game has three difficulty levels and, just like in the classic game, offers the possibility to enter your three-letter initials when entering a high score. Participants who shared their score via Twitter had a chance to win an original Arcade installation.
This is one of the most popular WebAR activations of 2021 with publicity on Adweek and Business Insider, but also sites such as Reddit.
