The UAE-based software developer, NNTC along with CROC has announced the implementation of a Virtual Reality simulator at Dubai Municipality’s Sewage Treatment Plants and Drainage Network Department in Jebel Ali.
The VR training puts the workers inside a virtual simulation of a sewage plant. Dmitry Doshaniy, General Manager at NNTC, says, “Through our VR simulator, workers can practice equipment operation and maintenance procedures, process flow and interlocks, and can conduct emergency drills.”
The VR training helps in improving the quality of the worker’s training and helps them gain lifelong skills. The simulation helps workers in reducing operational errors and safety protocol violations.
