EE opened an Augmented Reality superstore next to Wembley Stadium. In the shop, visitors could experience the new football jerseys of the English national football team virtually.
Before entering the store, customers are given a smartphone with which they can virtually visit the shop. This way, customers can view the football jerseys from different angles in a creative way. After the tour by a virtual player of the English team, customers can immediately order the jerseys.
All proceeds from the shop were donated to the Alzheimer’s society, The FA’s Official Charity Partner. The match against Switzerland, for example, raised a total of 70.000 euros.
