ComplexCon is a festival with the latest trends when it comes to pop culture. For sneaker and fashion brands attending. For ComplexCon 2021, Snap made an ‘AR takeover’ in which ‘Complexland’ became real.
Snap created three lenses to enhance the user experience. With the ‘3D virtual map & Exclusive Drop Lens’, people at the festival got exclusive access to their favorite products which they then could buy immediately.
With the ‘Global-Access AR Try-on’ lens, festival visitors and people at home could try on their favorite sneakers, clothes and bags in AR. After purchase, customers can virtually share their purchase with the ‘Celebration lens’.
The Snapchat lenses were a big success, with more than 6 million views. Also, visitors came back at an average of 4 times. Not only to get exclusive access to content, but also to buy products.
