Chipotle unveiled an Augmented Reality ad with the Colorado Avalanche NHL team. This ad builds on prior Chipotle campaigns that integrate its brand into virtual- or mixed reality content.
The ad was displayed on the big screens in the arena and it was shown on the tv. It shows a Chipotle branded Zamboni (ice mopping machine) bringing out a big burrito Bowl onto the ice. After that, a big hand with a blue glove breaks through the ice and grabs the bowl.
The experience already has over 200.000 views on Twitter and has over 1.500 likes. The reactions are positive and a lot of people who saw the experience thought that it was real.
