TikTok and Bell Mobility have teamed up to let users in remote locations use AR brushes to paint together, showcase the capabilities of the 5G network and encourage customers to switch to Canada’s largest telecom company.
In real time, creators view both their own environment and the 3D AR painting they are co-creating. Users can add various effects and edits, such as music, stickers and text, before posting them to their TikTok accounts. For additional engagement among friends and followers, viewers can also comment and remix such as requesting a duet or editing the original video.
The hashtag named: #Bell5GPaintPortal has already generated over 400 million views combined, with several TikTok influencers as advertisers, such as Justin Hopper.
