Amphia Hospital and MMC | Care employees VR Training
Amphia Hospital and MMC (Máxima Medical Centrum) work together to train employees in high-risk domains such as obstetrics, surgery and oncology. The aim is to safely simulate difficult situations but also to improve patient information.
Participants will work with virtual avatars ‘VIBE’ that simulate scenarios with both patients and colleagues. The avatars communicate through speech and facial expression, are self-learning and able to answer questions. Thanks to an avatar, success is measurable and the information obtained is used to improve the virtual training.
Employees can train individually when they have the time. This provides more flexibility and less of a burden on the departments. Moreover, the acquired knowledge is easy to share between different organizations.
